Client Advisor Intern

About the role#

As a Client Advisor Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for the bank, focusing on client-centered service and problem-solving. This role requires mobility to work at both the Saint John and Quispamsis branch locations. You will assist clients with daily banking needs, help them navigate digital tools, and collaborate with internal partners to ensure clients reach their financial goals.

What you'll do#

• Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover their banking needs.
• Educate clients on digital banking technology to improve their experience and drive satisfaction.
• Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions.
• Actively listen to client conversations to identify individual needs and potential sales or referral opportunities.
• Take ownership of resolving client banking issues and preventing future problems.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities.

What you'll need#

• A demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs and a background in target-driven sales environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills to build rapport.
• Flexibility, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to personal ethics.
• Digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
• Ability to work all business hours.
• Preferred: A track record of building client relationships in the financial or service industry.
• Preferred: Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
