    About the role#

    As a Client Advisor Intern, you will provide financial advice and solutions to clients to meet their individual needs. This role focuses on delivering exceptional service and representing the bank within the local community.

    What you'll do#

    • Serve clients by completing transactions and engaging in needs-based conversations.
    • Identify client needs and provide tailored financial advice and solutions at the first point of contact.
    • Contribute to team sales results by spotting opportunities to offer advice or introduce clients to bank partners.
    • Understand and resolve client concerns effectively.
    • Educate and assist clients with using digital banking capabilities.
    • Manage risks by adhering to compliance routines, processes, and controls.

    What you'll need#

    • Proven customer service skills, ideally within the financial or service industry.
    • Strong drive, self-motivation, and excellent communication skills.
    • High emotional intelligence.
    • Digital literacy across various devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
    • Flexibility to work varying hours.
    • Eagerness to learn and a determination to succeed.

    Location & details#

    • Locations: Middleton and Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia.
    • Work Modality: On-site.
    • Employment Type: Part-time (23 hours per week).
    • Compensation: This is a paid, salaried position.
