About the role#
This internship focuses on client-centered service and problem-solving within a banking environment. You will assist clients with their everyday banking, credit, and investment needs while acting as an ambassador for the bank. The role requires a commitment to creating meaningful client experiences and collaborating with internal partners to support client goals.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to uncover banking needs and identify referral opportunities.
- Provide advice and assistance for a full range of financial transactions.
- Educate clients on digital banking tools and demonstrate technology to improve their experience.
- Actively listen to clients to understand their individual financial needs.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems for clients.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to maximize business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation, such as the Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course.
- A demonstrated passion for putting clients first and experience in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
- Flexibility, a strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn.
- Digital literacy across various devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Availability to work all open business hours.
