About the role#
As a Banking Advisor Intern, you will serve as an ambassador for the branch, focusing on client-centered sales and problem-solving. This role involves assisting clients with everyday banking, credit, and investment needs while collaborating with internal partners to help clients reach their financial goals. You will contribute to client satisfaction and loyalty by providing meaningful experiences during every interaction.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch and the community to uncover their needs and identify referral opportunities.
- Educate clients on banking solutions and demonstrate how to use digital tools and technology.
- Assist clients with a full range of financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual financial requirements.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing banking problems.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with partners to facilitate business referrals.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
- A demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
- High level of digital literacy across devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Availability to work all open business hours.
