About the role#
This position focuses on client-centered service and problem-solving within a branch environment. As a Banking Advisor Intern, you will act as an ambassador for the bank by assisting clients with everyday banking needs, educating them on digital tools, and collaborating with partners to help them achieve their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch and the community to identify banking needs and referral opportunities.
- Educate clients on banking products and demonstrate how to use digital tools to improve their experience.
- Respond to client inquiries and assist with a full range of financial transactions.
- Listen to clients to understand their individual needs and resolve banking problems.
- Maintain relationships with internal partners to maximize business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- A demonstrated passion for prioritizing client needs and success in target-driven environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills to build rapport.
- Digital literacy across various devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Flexibility, a willingness to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- A track record of building and maintaining client relationships is an asset, as is having Mutual Funds accreditation.
- Students or graduates in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or Economics are encouraged to apply.

- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Calgary, Alberta.
- The role operates on a rolling term basis.
