About the role#
This position focuses on client-centered sales and problem-solving to support everyday banking, credit, and investment needs. As an ambassador for the bank, you will provide advice, assist with transactions, and collaborate with partners to help clients achieve their financial goals. This role involves both proactive engagement and responding to client-initiated contact to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
What you'll do#
- Proactively engage with clients in the branch and community to identify banking needs and sales opportunities.
- Focus on client education and technology demonstrations to improve the banking experience.
- Respond to client requests and assist with a full range of financial transactions.
- Take ownership of resolving and preventing client banking issues.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal partners to manage referrals and business opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Mutual Funds accreditation or a willingness to obtain it (such as Investment Funds in Canada or the Canadian Securities Course).
- Demonstrated passion for client service and success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build effective client relationships.
- Flexibility, a desire to learn, and strong personal ethics.
- Digital literacy across various devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
- Ability to work all open business hours.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or Psychology.
