About the role#
This is a full-time Software Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. You will work on-site as part of a team designing and building embedded software solutions. This role provides an opportunity to work with experts across hardware, systems, and FPGA engineering.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the design, development, integration, and verification of embedded software.
- Develop technical skills using software tools and languages such as Rust, C++, and Python.
- Implement and test software solutions.
- Gain experience with the full software development lifecycle within an agile team.
- Explore areas including cryptography, networking protocols, embedded devices, and DevSecOps.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
