About the role#
Ramboll is looking for an intern to join the Environment & Health group in Baton Rouge. You will work with project managers and consultants on projects involving environmental compliance, health and safety, sustainability, and due diligence. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Prepare emissions calculations.
- Research current environmental regulations and technologies.
- Assist in preparing deliverables, including permit applications and environmental impact reports.
- Generate application forms and spreadsheets.
- Deliver permitting actions to local government agencies.
- Complete administrative tasks and special projects as directed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS or MS program for Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, or a related environmental science discipline.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with spreadsheets and word processing.
- Ability to interpret environmental regulations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong time management skills.
