About the role#
Radiant is hiring a Reliability & Quality Intern for the summer of 2027. You will work at our headquarters in El Segundo, California, to support the development of portable nuclear microreactors. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Support projects across supply reliability, build reliability, quality control, and quality systems.
- Identify process gaps and develop improvements to prevent quality issues.
- Create and update quality processes, standards, procedures, and tools.
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Analyze quality data and trends to find areas for improvement.
- Assist with hands-on quality tasks for hardware development, production, and acceptance.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- Interest in hands-on experience with quality engineering, hardware development, or manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work quickly to meet deadlines.

- This internship is based 100% on-site in El Segundo, California.
- The role is for the summer of 2027.
