Social Media Marketing Intern

About the role#

The Social Media Marketing Intern will support the employer brand and internal communications efforts at R.T. Moore. This role focuses on highlighting company culture, managing digital signage, and assisting with social media content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with all divisions to highlight company culture and employee stories.
• Create and manage content for digital signage across locations, focusing on benefits, safety, performance, employee recognition, and hiring opportunities.
• Develop visual content, including posts, short videos, and graphics, to promote the employer brand.
• Assist in planning and scheduling content across social media channels.
• Monitor social media accounts and respond to comments and messages.
• Track and report on engagement metrics such as likes, shares, comments, and reach.
• Support campaigns for hiring, brand awareness, and company initiatives.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort with digital media platforms and current trends.
• Basic knowledge of tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software is a plus.
• An organized, proactive, and results-driven approach.

• Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
• Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Open to part-time or full-time availability during weekdays.
• Compensation: $18 per hour.
