About the role#
R.T. Moore is seeking Field Engineering Interns to support mechanical and industrial engineering projects. Interns work alongside Field Engineers, Project Managers, and Field Superintendents to gain hands-on experience in construction environments. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Support Field Engineers, Project Managers, or Field Superintendents as required.
- Apply Trimble knowledge to assist with project layout.
- Interpret engineering drawings and provide assistance in the field.
- Assist in material take-offs and estimating.
- Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
- Assist with project coordination and safety requirements.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a 4-year Engineering or Construction Management program.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and take on new challenges.
- Ability to work as an independent problem solver.
- Hard work ethic and a positive attitude.
Location & details#
- Location: Plain City, Ohio.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Conditions: This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, including exposure to various weather conditions, loud noises, and mechanical environments. Candidates must be willing to wear required personal protective equipment, climb or balance regularly, and lift at least 50 pounds on occasion.
