About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will gain experience in the data center industry by working on initiatives tied to real company objectives. The program includes an orientation, weekly lunch and learns, site-based activities, and volunteering events.
What you'll do#
- Create and process purchase orders while tracking their status.
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and documentation.
- Analyze procurement and inventory data to find trends, cost-saving opportunities, and risks.
- Maintain supplier records, contracts, and purchasing databases.
- Monitor inventory levels and support replenishment planning.
- Participate in supplier performance reviews by tracking quality and service metrics.
- Assist with invoice reconciliation and resolve purchasing discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Logistics teams.
- Build reports and dashboards to show purchasing activity, spend, and vendor performance.
- Contribute to projects focused on procurement efficiency and process standardization.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, STEM, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Current full-time enrollment in a QTS partner institution or a Blackstone Launchpad affiliate school.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- US Citizenship.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction, finance, technology, HR, or facilities engineering is preferred.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java.
- Involvement in community activities, such as athletics, clubs, or volunteering.

- This role is on-site in Duluth, Georgia; Irving, Texas; or Overland Park, Kansas.
