About the role#
This Summer 2027 internship offers hands-on experience within a corporate legal department. You will work on various tasks and initiatives that support the daily operations of QTS. The program includes a comprehensive orientation, weekly lunch and learns, and site-based activities.
What you'll do#
- Draft and review vendor notices, including breach of contract and liquidated damages.
- Prepare executive summaries and legal memos regarding regulations, case law, or issues relevant to company operations.
- Assist with legal department data analysis and process optimization projects, such as workflow automation.
- Conduct state-specific legal research.
- Support the pre-lien response and NDA review processes.
- Perform historical cleanup of legal files and trackers.
- Observe contract negotiations.
What you'll need#
- You are actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Juris Doctorate (JD) degree.
- You must be a US Citizen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel for budgeting and data analysis, and PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
