About the role#
Qorvo is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our Software R&D team within the Global Operations business group. You will work closely with mentors to build Design Automation and High-Performance Computing applications. This role focuses on writing efficient code and supporting our internal customers by solving technical problems.
What you'll do#
- Create custom Python applications and integrated GUIs.
- Analyze and benchmark software API calls.
- Write and maintain unit tests.
- Plan and write well-structured code that follows documented best practices.
- Determine the operational practicality of software solutions.
- Provide support to internal customers to resolve technical issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science.
- Programming capabilities in Python or C++.
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git for version control.
- Proficiency using IDEs for development and troubleshooting.
- A strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a proactive team player.

- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $31 to $42 per hour, depending on experience.
