About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Software Engineering Intern to join our team in Greensboro. This is a full-time, paid internship that provides hands-on experience within our business groups. You will work on software projects and receive mentorship from industry experts while collaborating in a team-based environment.
What you'll do#
- Streamline application and software processes by developing and maintaining software for various projects.
- Benchmark existing software to maximize efficiency and build improvements.
- Drive API development to support data structure, data access, integration, visualization, and database design.
- Document and report your work according to team design practices.
- Provide support to internal customers and resolve outstanding technical issues.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Competence in C#, Java, XML/HTML, Python, and C++.
- Coursework in data structures, algorithms, and databases.
- Familiarity with IDEs, multithreading, shell scripting, and algorithm design.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
