About the role#
This internship is part of the High Performance Analog business group. You will work within a team to support the design of functional blocks in CMOS, BiCMOS, and RFSOI technologies. Specific projects depend on current business needs.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design of functional blocks including millimeter-wave LNAs, PAs, VCOs, mixers, Phase Shifters, Attenuators, and Switches.
- Perform active device and electromagnetic modeling for high-frequency designs.
- Create design schematics and run simulations.
- Use signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare simulated data against real lab data.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF/mmW IC design.
- A minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Coursework or experience in RF/mmW circuit design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and network analyzers is preferred.

- The position is on-site and full-time.
