About the role#
Qorvo is hiring an RF Design Engineer Intern to join the High Performance Analog business group. This internship provides hands-on experience in semiconductor design and testing. You will work on real projects alongside experienced engineers to solve technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of mm-wave amplifiers and switches using GaAs or GaN technologies.
- Run linear, non-linear, and electromagnetic simulations.
- Prepare and present design reviews to your team.
- Measure and analyze RF performance of modules and MMICs in the lab.
- Help with laminate package characterization and probe testing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited BS, MS, or PhD program for Electrical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Completed coursework in RF circuit design.
- Experience with ADS or MWO CAD simulation software.
- Familiarity with EM solvers like Sonnet, Momentum, Axiem, or HFSS.

- This role is located in Richardson, Texas.
- The position is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
