About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Research Scientist Intern to join our High Performance Analog business group. This position focuses on the hands-on development of semiconductor materials and device processes. You will work directly with our material and device teams to contribute to project goals based on current business needs.
What you'll do#
- Develop epitaxy growth processes using MOCVD and MBE techniques.
- Perform device processing and characterization.
- Conduct hands-on characterization of advanced semiconductor materials.
- Generate and analyze technical data.
- Document your findings and present results to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited PhD program.
- Academic background in Material Sciences Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics.
- Practical experience with epitaxy growth techniques like MOCVD or MBE.
- Familiarity with materials characterization, including X-ray diffraction, atomic force microscopy, and Hall and C-V measurements.
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment.
- Strong analytical skills and an open mind.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly in writing and speech.

- This is an on-site, full-time position.
