About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Research Engineering Intern to join our High Performance Analog business group. You will work on-site in Richardson, Texas, on a rolling basis. This is a paid, full-time position for students currently pursuing a PhD.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the hands-on development of semiconductor materials and devices.
- Perform device and materials characterization, testing, measurements, and correlation.
- Conduct failure analysis.
- Generate and analyze data.
- Document and present your results to the project team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Chemistry.
- Experience with semiconductor device and wafer-level processes.
- Knowledge of electrical, thermal, or mechanical design and modeling.
- Familiarity with materials analysis tools such as FIB, SEM, SAM, IR, or XRAY.
- Proficiency with statistical data analysis tools like Spotfire or Minitab.
