About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Radio Systems and Test Intern to join the Connectivity and Sensors business group. This internship provides hands-on experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work on real projects, receive mentorship from industry experts, and participate in team-based assignments.
What you'll do#
- Create automated test software using Python, C, and LabVIEW to control test equipment and SoC products.
- Assist in the design and development of test hardware solutions, including PCB design and assembly tasks.
- Evaluate and select test equipment.
- Perform analog, RF, and digital characterization testing and data analysis to ensure product compliance.
- Measure SoC products and test devices using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, logic analyzers, and digital pattern generators.
- Process, verify, and analyze measured data to produce reports and presentations.
- Develop custom tool sets for data visualization, big data analysis, lab efficiency tracking, and lean manufacturing metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Coursework or experience in analog, RF, or digital design.
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment like spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Experience with EDA software such as ADS, HFSS, Altium, Allegro, or Matlab.
- Programming or scripting experience in Python, C, Bash, VB, or other object-oriented languages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication, organizational, and planning skills.
