About the role#
This internship position is based in the High Performance Analog business group within the System and Research team. You will support the design and characterization of advanced RF and mm-wave System in Package products. This is a full-time, paid internship.
What you'll do#
- Perform 3D modeling, electromagnetic and thermal analysis, and schematic generation.
- Conduct lab measurements, collect data, and generate technical reports.
- Contribute design schematics and simulations to team projects.
- Use hardware including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters to compare lab results with simulated data.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completed coursework in RF or Microwave design.
- Familiarity with Si and III/V technologies, RFIC and MMIC design, and advanced packaging fundamentals.
- Experience with software such as Keysight ADS, EMPro, Ansys HFSS, Workbench, and Cadence is preferred.
