About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Filter Design Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Cellular business group in Apopka, Florida. This role is a full-time, paid position that offers hands-on experience with BAW and SAW acoustic filter components. You will work on projects that support our wireless RF applications and RFFE modules.
What you'll do#
- Design BAW and SAW acoustic filter components for wireless RF applications.
- Integrate filter components into RFFE modules.
- Run circuit and electromagnetic simulations using commercial and internal tools.
- Ensure designs meet product specifications for RF performance, cost, and schedule.
- Collaborate with the characterization team to evaluate and diagnose RF components.
- Improve design flows, methods, and internal processes.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Coursework or experience in analog/RF circuit design and electromagnetic simulation.
- Familiarity with software including ADS, AWR, FEM, HFSS, Momentum, Cadence, and Dynamic Link.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Exposure to RF measurement equipment like spectrum analyzers and network analyzers is preferred.
