About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Device and Process Development Intern to join our High Performance Analog group. This position involves working directly in a clean room facility on semiconductor fabrication projects. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to wafer-level process development and engineering trials.
What you'll do#
- Operate semiconductor fabrication equipment to develop wafer-level processes.
- Perform device characterization using RF and microwave test equipment.
- Collect and analyze data using metrology tools and software like Excel, JMP, or Spotfire.
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes.
- Design and execute fab engineering trials involving techniques such as PVD, CVD, lithography, etching, and CMP.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Knowledge of semiconductor devices, including DC and RF characterization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in hands-on clean room work.
- Familiarity with GaN or GaAs processing is a plus.
