About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Data Analytics Intern to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience within our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, or Connectivity and Sensors business groups. The role is on-site and follows a rolling term structure.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to find trends, patterns, and insights.
- Support the development and validation of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Create reports and visualizations to communicate your findings.
- Maintain data pipelines and document your methodologies.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or an engineering discipline.
- Basic knowledge of Python or R.
- Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as pandas, NumPy, or scikit-learn.
- An understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Experience with SQL and data visualization tools like PowerBi, DataBricks, or Spotfire is a plus.
