About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a BAW Research & Development Intern to join our Global Operations group in Apopka, Florida. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience with semiconductor technology. You will work on specific projects related to filter design and simulation.
What you'll do#
- Analyze topologies to improve target designs.
- Realize filter layouts using BAW technology.
- Implement laminate and full module simulations.
- Extract topologies for filter and multiplexer networks from competitor parts.
- Perform competitor performance fits using measurements to extract filter parameters.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an MS or PhD program for Electrical Engineering or Physics.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Completed coursework in RF or Microwave circuit design.
- Experience with electromagnetic or RF simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, or AWR.
- Familiarity with RF measurement equipment, including spectrum and network analyzers.
- Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with filter design, impedance matching, or RF packaging is preferred.
