About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to gain hands-on experience with financial statement audits. You will work alongside professional teams to provide independent assessments that help clients maintain regulatory compliance. This role focuses on learning our methodologies, observing audit practices, and building a foundation for a career in accounting.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to ensure they meet accounting standards.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends.
- Document audit processes and findings to keep records consistent.
- Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and evaluate internal controls.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- You must be on track to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or their fourth year of a five-year program.

- Compensation: $29.25 - $48.00 per hour, depending on skills and qualifications.
