About the role#
This is a rolling internship position focused on process engineering. You will report to the Process Engineering Manager and work on projects designed to improve manufacturing efficiency, capacity, and overall performance. This role requires a presence on the shop floor to troubleshoot equipment and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Manage projects centered on process improvements and monitor their impact on operations.
- Demonstrate safety leadership and contribute to the company safety culture.
- Create training materials and documentation to ensure project knowledge transfer.
- Develop project plans to ensure all deliverables meet customer expectations.
- Use data and statistical tools to document and sustain manufacturing processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for manufacturing equipment.
What you'll need#
- A bachelor's degree or current undergraduate status in industrial engineering, chemistry, industrial production, mechanics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, with at least intermediate experience in Excel.
- A basic understanding of statistical techniques.
- A solid grasp of the processes and equipment used in the assigned work area.
- The ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
