About the role#
Technology Consulting interns work with clients to deliver solutions to complex business problems. You will gain experience across different industries while growing your technical and professional capabilities. This role provides a preview of our full-time career opportunities and offers hands-on training in a supportive environment. You will work on projects assigned by Talent Managers, participate in internal initiatives, and join employee network groups to build professional connections.
What you'll do#
- Participate in Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding and The Intern Challenge experiential learning course.
- Collaborate with teams to solve business challenges and implement innovative solutions.
- Engage in project work across areas such as Business Platform Transformation, Enterprise Data, Analytics & AI, Microsoft solutions, Security and Privacy, Technology Risk and Resilience, and Technology Strategy and Architecture.
- Synthesize research, develop documentation, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Apply AI tools to enhance work efficiency and solve problems.
- Participate in social, civic, and networking activities.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Math, or a related technology field.
- Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity tools.
- Technical proficiency in areas such as Python, Java, JavaScript, database management systems, or Business Intelligence reporting tools.
- Understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, cloud platforms, and ERP system concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Growth mindset with a desire to seek feedback and guidance.
