About the role#
Project Renewal is seeking a Marketing & Social Media Intern to support outreach and brand awareness for City Beet Kitchens. This role offers experience in marketing, communications, and nonprofit management while contributing to our social mission of workforce development and community service.
What you'll do#
- Create content for Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Capture photography and video of catered events, food, and daily operations.
- Build social media calendars and schedule posts.
- Write captions, newsletters, blog posts, and email marketing campaigns.
- Research and identify potential corporate clients, venues, schools, and community partners.
- Assist with marketing outreach and lead generation.
- Maintain and organize marketing materials and promotional assets.
- Track engagement metrics and suggest ways to improve performance.
- Brainstorm creative campaigns and seasonal marketing initiatives.
- Support special events, tastings, conferences, and community outreach efforts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, Hospitality, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Canva and platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Basic experience in photography, video editing, or graphic design is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A self-motivated and organized approach to tasks.

- Pay: $20.08 per hour.
