About the role#
This Product Development Internship focuses on standardizing and enhancing quality procedures across Chicagoland manufacturing sites. You will act as a liaison between technical and quality teams to ensure processes are consistent, clear, and effectively implemented across multiple locations.
What you'll do#
- Review and rewrite existing quality procedures to improve clarity and consistency.
- Identify process gaps and align quality standards across different facility locations.
- Observe and assess test procedures on-site at the Cary and Hanover Park facilities.
- Determine and implement necessary test procedure improvements for the Franklin Park location.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate updated quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
- A proactive approach to identifying problems and developing solutions.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
