The Design and Sample Lab (DASL) Intern will work at our Collaboration and Innovation Center in Rochester, New York. This full-time, on-site summer 2026 role involves collaborating with Sales, Innovation, and Marketing teams to develop flexible packaging prototypes for various brands. The position focuses on rethinking traditional packaging and creating solutions that help customers differentiate their products in the market.
What you'll do#
- Brainstorm concepts and construct physical models.
- Design and develop flexible packaging prototypes.
- Size flexible packaging for customers transitioning from rigid containers or corrugate.
- Use Adobe Illustrator to create artwork and graphics for new packaging concepts.
- Create renders, illustrations, and mock-ups to test against customer specifications.
- Work hands-on in the lab, including maintaining equipment, organizing materials, and following safety and housekeeping procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Architecture, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Strong creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to ethical conduct.

- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: On-site, full-time (40 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship.
