About the role#
As a Software Engineering Intern at PrizePicks, you will contribute directly to a platform used by millions of sports fans. You will work on real features that go live in our production environment, gaining experience across the full development lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Write and ship code that directly affects the user experience.
- Work alongside experienced engineers and a dedicated mentor.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, team meetings, and product discussions.
- Submit pull requests and receive code reviews to learn industry best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Computer Science or related degree program, or within one semester of graduation.
- Interest in front-end or back-end development.
- Understanding of the basics of software development.
- Familiarity with technologies such as Ruby/Rails, Go, SQL (Postgres), JavaScript/TypeScript, React/JSX, HTML, or CSS.
- A strong desire to learn and solve problems.
- Experience with personal projects or open-source contributions is a plus.
