    About the role#

    The Process Engineer Intern reports to the Lead Engineer in the Manufacturing Engineering group. You will focus on one of the core semiconductor processing areas in the fab, such as FEOL, Photolithography, or BEOL. The goal is to build a first principles understanding of materials, processes, and measurement techniques. You will use this knowledge to solve problems that improve process stability, tool availability, and factory line yield.

    What you'll do#

    • Study the interactions between process conditions, chamber conditions, and other variables.
    • Drive a specific project within a functional area that culminates in a high visibility presentation.
    • Engage with team members to monitor daily manufacturing activities.
    • Improve operational efficiency.

    What you'll need#

    • You are an undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Physics, Material Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.
    • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • You have demonstrated independent achievement and teamwork capabilities.
    • It is preferred that you have completed an introductory course or lab work in semiconductor devices or manufacturing.
