About the role#
Solutions Engineer Interns work where engineering, data, and the advertising ecosystem meet. You will contribute to technical projects that improve tools, workflows, and integrations for internal teams and partners. This role provides exposure to real engineering work, cross-functional collaboration, and AI-assisted workflows. You will learn how to turn operational problems into technical solutions through hands-on experience with coding, debugging, and system design.
What you'll do#
- Complete assigned technical projects with attention to quality and feedback from your team.
- Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end to support products and infrastructure.
- Build, test, and improve code, scripts, automations, and internal tools.
- Investigate technical issues using logs and documentation to identify root causes.
- Participate in engineering on-call coverage during regular workdays to help triage issues.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Support teams to clarify technical requirements.
- Improve reporting, monitoring, and documentation to help teams make decisions.
- Use approved AI tools to support research and coding while validating all outputs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Computer Science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date by June 2028.
- Foundational knowledge of programming concepts, testing, and debugging.
- Experience writing and debugging code in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Ability to communicate technical thinking clearly.
- Comfort working with structured data in tables, CSV files, and spreadsheets.
- Experience using AI tools for learning and problem-solving, along with a practice of verifying results.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is available in San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, and New York.
- Work modality is remote or hybrid, depending on the specific team and location. Hybrid roles require approximately 1 to 2 days of in-office collaboration per week.
