About the role#
We are looking for Data Science interns to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and data mining to help shape our product. Your work will influence our roadmap, identify product opportunities, and improve our experimentation platform. You will work across teams with engineers, product managers, designers, and researchers to turn data into real-world products.
What you'll do#
- Use exploratory analysis to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for product innovation.
- Design and implement core metrics to guide team efforts.
- Design and evaluate A/B experiments and explore alternative experimentation techniques.
- Build and communicate key insights to technical and non-technical partners.
- Use AI-generated suggestions with critical thinking to validate correctness, performance, and security.
- Iterate on prompts and refine workflows using AI-assisted tools.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or an applied science field.
- Ability to manipulate large, complex, and high-dimensional data sets.
- Fluency in SQL and a scripting language such as Python or R.
- Experience solving analytical problems in fields like machine learning, statistical modeling, forecasting, or econometrics.
- Ability to connect data analysis to business problems and explain findings clearly to diverse audiences.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 12-week paid internship.
- Positions are available in San Francisco, CA, Palo Alto, CA, Seattle, WA, and New York, NY.
- Work modality includes both remote and hybrid options depending on the specific team.
- Start dates are May 17, 2027, or June 14, 2027.
