About the role#
This 11-week, paid internship offers hands-on experience in actuarial science. You will work across areas like product development, financial management, and risk management. The program includes a mentorship component, training on analytical platforms, and sessions with executive leadership to discuss company strategy. You will also participate in a dedicated onsite week in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, to connect with the team in person.
What you'll do#
- Support actuarial analyses for key business initiatives.
- Compile, validate, and analyze data for experience studies and management reporting.
- Assist with financial projections, reserve analyses, and other analytical projects.
- Document methodologies, assumptions, and results for actuarial models.
- Collaborate with teammates and business partners to meet shared goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program with a major in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize work and prioritize tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Initiative to learn new skills and contribute ideas.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Business coursework is a plus.
- Progress toward actuarial credentialing is preferred, though exams are not required for eligibility.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position for Summer 2027.
- The role is primarily remote, with a mandatory one-week onsite requirement in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania.
