About the role#
Pencor Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated intern to support the news and sports production team at Blue Ridge TV-13. This role focuses on promoting live programming through social media content, including graphics, videos, and daily updates.
What you'll do#
- Update promotional templates for news and sports productions.
- Manage daily posting schedules on Twitter / X, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Publish approved news and sports stories to YouTube.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Social Media Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, or Communications.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong background in media communications, copywriting, and visual design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere and Photoshop.
- Understanding of social media platforms and scheduling tools.
- Ability to work independently on projects and present them for review.
- Flexibility to work between PC and Mac workstations.
- Established residency in Pennsylvania.
- Valid PA Driver's License and a good driving record.
- Creativity and strong attention to detail.
Location & details#
- Location: Lehighton, Pennsylvania.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and Fridays, 4:00 PM to 11:30 PM (approximately 25 hours per week).
- Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
