About the role#
PCL Construction is seeking a Project Management/Technology Student to join the Solar Canada district in Oakville, Ontario. This is a full-time, paid position starting in Winter 2027 for a duration of 8 to 16 months. You will work on-site to support project design, procurement, and data analytics.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and review project data to prepare analytics tools and interpret performance.
- Report data irregularities to commissioning and field staff.
- Develop new systems and processes to improve analytics tools.
- Coordinate project design and procurement, including taking meeting minutes and tracking open items.
- Review RFP documentation, drawings, diagrams, commissioning plans, and electrical studies.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders by using PM4+ to manage RFIs and submittals.
- Ensure project quality by tracking site O&Ms and warranty items.
- Convert Excel inspection test plans into PM4+ ITP templates.
- Maintain Power BI Synoptics design dashboards.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project issues.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering program.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior attention to detail.
- A strong desire to work in a design function.
- Experience with computer software including AutoCAD, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with PM4+ and Power BI.

- Compensation: $21.37 - $31.34 per hour, based on experience.
