About the role#
This is a full-time summer internship based in Orlando, Florida. You will work with the Nassal team to support estimating operations and contribute to project planning.
What you'll do#
- Review and perform quantity survey assignments under the guidance of a lead estimator.
- Manage bid document control and assist with bid day assignments.
- Perform sub-trade solicitation, bid reviews, and recapping.
- Use in-house BEST Estimating software to complete tasks.
- Build professional relationships with subcontractors.
- Visit job sites periodically to gain field experience.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an associate or bachelor degree program for Construction Management, Architectural Drafting and Estimating Technology, or a related field.
- A clear interest in a career in Estimating, Project Management, Field Supervision, or general construction.
- Experience with software including On-Screen Takeoff, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Revit, and Acrobat.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with project personnel, owners, and suppliers.
- Authorization to work in the United States.

- This role is located on-site in Orlando, Florida.
- The internship runs full-time from May to August 2027.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a third-party substance abuse test.
