About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site at one of our Florida locations. This role is designed for students who want to pursue a career as a Project Manager, Superintendent, Safety Professional, or Estimator.
What you'll do#
- Assist Field and Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents.
- Conduct safety and quality audits.
- Read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
- Log submittals, process RFIs, and prepare reports.
- Assist with surveying and project layout.
- Maintain field drawings, equipment, and records.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field staff.
- Manage material deliveries and documentation.
- Attend project meetings.
- Prepare memos, letters, meeting minutes, and contracts.
- Assist with project documentation and estimating tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in a degree program such as Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Willingness to temporarily relocate to project sites.
- Ability to pass a substance abuse test.
