About the role#
We are looking for Engineering Students to join our team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Calgary or Lethbridge, Alberta. You will support our construction projects by assisting with technical documentation, scheduling, and field coordination.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate drawings and work scopes for specific trades and sub-trades.
- Review trade quotes by verifying hours, rates, and material quantities.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and verify site conditions.
- Participate in project meetings and monitor workforce productivity.
- Update field drawings and produce as-built drawings.
- Manage project documentation, including deficiency logs, warranties, and progress photos.
- Create and update project schedules using Primavera P6 EPPM software.
- Develop and maintain graphical schedules using AutoCAD.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering program.
- A strong desire to work in a construction environment.
- Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting software.
- Prior field construction experience is an asset.
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required depending on the project site.
