About the role#
This is an entry-level position designed for students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a trade or vocational program. We provide paid training and cover the costs for your IICRC certifications. This role serves as a starting point for a career in restoration, with clear paths to become a technician or crew lead.
What you'll do#
- Support the mitigation crew on water, fire, and mold jobs.
- Move and set up equipment like air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers.
- Perform demolition tasks, including removing wet carpet and padding, cutting out damaged drywall, and hauling debris.
- Help build containment areas while following all safety and PPE protocols.
- Maintain the truck by loading, unloading, and keeping it organized.
- Assist with contents pack-out, tarping, and board-up services.
- Help out in the warehouse when crews are not out on jobs.
- Learn the trade directly from experienced technicians.
What you'll need#
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- A valid Florida driver's license with a clean record and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs frequently and stay on your feet all day.
- A willingness to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Reliability and a consistent ability to show up on time.
- A strong desire to learn and follow directions.
- Preferred: Enrollment in or completion of a trade program (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, construction, or similar).
- Preferred: OSHA 10 certification and any previous hands-on shop or job site experience.

- Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
