About the role#
PathAI is hiring a Software Engineering Co-op for the Fall 2026 term. You will join our team in Boston to help build and refine our software platform. This is a full-time, paid position for students who want to work on complex technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Write code to solve technical problems and build new features for our users.
- Refactor existing code to improve system performance and maintainability.
- Work across different systems, ranging from low-level infrastructure to front-end user interfaces.
- Drive the architecture of our application platform while considering future product needs.
- Collaborate with product, design, machine learning, and infrastructure teams.
- Maintain high engineering standards by ensuring software is tested, reviewed, and integrated properly.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- You have completed at least 50% of your degree program.
- You have at least one previous work experience, whether from a prior internship, volunteer position, or other employment.
- You have strong intellectual curiosity and the ability to learn quickly in a complex environment.

- This role is located on-site in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The term runs from September through December 2026.
- This is a full-time, paid co-op position. We do not provide visa sponsorship.
