About the role#
This is a part-time, hourly position for a student to gain experience with fundamental engineering, mathematical, and construction concepts. You will work under close supervision to support our project teams in the Lubbock office.
What you'll do#
- Perform basic design calculations, system layouts, and sizing for HVAC and plumbing projects.
- Assist with construction phase services as directed by a project engineer.
- Check engineering calculations for accuracy.
- Maintain the technical library.
- Use computer aided design software and other relevant tools.
- Take on other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current student status in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline at an accredited college or university.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant software tools.
