About the role#
We are looking for Actuarial Interns to join us for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Newport Beach office. You will gain direct experience in the financial services industry while working on projects that contribute to our team goals.
What you'll do#
- Participate in actuarial projects to gain a practical understanding of the profession.
- Build dashboards to visualize data.
- Conduct rider and cash flow analysis.
- Develop tools to improve team efficiency.
- Complete product training focused on our annuity offerings.
- Attend rotational learning sessions to explore areas like modeling, risk management, pricing, and valuation.
- Engage with executive and peer mentors for career guidance.
- Participate in networking and community service events.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least one Society of Actuaries exam.
- Current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication abilities and a demonstrated capacity for leadership.
- A clear desire to gain experience in the actuarial field.
