About the role#
Overhead Solutions Group is looking for a Business Administration Intern to support our internal operations, human resources systems, and daily administrative needs. This role offers hands-on experience in how a professional services firm operates. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and eager to learn.
What you'll do#
- Assist with onboarding new team members and maintaining personnel records in BambooHR.
- Track time-off records, employee updates, and performance review schedules.
- Set up tasks and projects in Canopy and assign them to the correct team members.
- Monitor upcoming deadlines and follow up on outstanding assignments.
- Assist with internal meetings, scheduling, and general office communications.
- Help manage office supplies and organize internal files and documents.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources, Operations Management, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Calendar, and Gmail.
- Willingness to learn BambooHR, Canopy, and other internal systems.
- Comfortable communicating with team members and following up on tasks.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Norfolk, Virginia.
- This is a part-time, paid internship with a rolling start date.
