About the role#
Our Next Energy (ONE) is hiring an Intern to support our team in Belleville, Michigan. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience and build skills for your career.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members with daily tasks and ongoing projects.
- Research, gather, organize, and analyze information.
- Create reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Attend team meetings, record notes, and track action items.
- Manage administrative duties like scheduling, data entry, and filing.
- Coordinate with other departments to support cross-functional work.
- Propose new ideas and suggest process improvements.
- Complete and present a final project at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage time, stay organized, and handle multiple tasks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
- Eagerness to learn and openness to feedback.
- Previous internship, work, or volunteer experience is preferred.
- Coursework or experience related to engineering is a plus.
