About the role#
Our Next Energy is looking for an intern to join our team in Novi. This role provides practical experience and the chance to work alongside professionals in the industrial machinery manufacturing sector. You will assist with daily operations and contribute to specific projects throughout your term.
What you'll do#
- Assist team members with daily tasks and ongoing projects.
- Research, gather, and analyze information.
- Create reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Attend team meetings, document notes, and track action items.
- Manage administrative duties including scheduling, data entry, and filing.
- Coordinate with other departments on cross-functional tasks.
- Propose new ideas and process improvements.
- Complete and present a final project at the end of your internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a college or university program.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and organize your time effectively.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Openness to feedback and a desire to learn.
- Previous work, volunteer, or internship experience is a plus.
- Coursework or background in engineering is preferred.
