About the role#
As a Training Intern, you will support our customer safety training initiatives. You will help determine training content, build new programs, and assist in delivering instruction. This role involves researching topics and maintaining training materials using office software. You will work on-site, balancing administrative office tasks with physical activity in field or production environments.
What you'll do#
- Assist in leading instruction on equipment operation for customers, including both presentation-based and hands-on sessions.
- Develop and update course content to keep materials current.
- Participate in course content reviews and pilot courses.
- Gather and provide feedback from customers regarding course content.
- Research various training topics and configure training materials.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in business, safety, construction management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance is preferred.
- Knowledge of JLG machines and access industry standards is a plus.
- Interest in conducting training for diverse audiences.
