About the role#
Oshkosh Corporation is hiring a Sales Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. You will work within the Inside Sales team to support order management, customer engagement, and internal documentation processes.
What you'll do#
- Support the Inside Sales team with order entry and management tasks.
- Serve as a liaison to define and document processes for Sales and Order Management.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of process maps.
- Prepare and maintain sales documents and quotes.
- Enter data and order information into systems including Web Order Entry, MAPICs, and Excel.
- Communicate with Sales Representatives to gather order details.
- Provide customer support by taking calls from external customers and the Field Sales team.
- Assist with various project-level tasks for the Sales and Order Management departments.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as at least a sophomore working toward a Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or greater within your declared major.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to travel or relocate to McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania for the summer.
